Testimonials

Happy Visitors!

“My daughter got married on Oct 2nd. I was looking for someone to make whoopie pies for it. I seen that Apple Barrel did so I messaged them to see if they would make mini ones for the wedding. They carry the big ones in the store but they worked with me and let me special order the mini’s for the wedding. Great place to work with you for your special occasion! Thank you so much for doing the mini whoopie pies. They were awesome!”

“All I wanted was a donut from a cider mill. No specific donut. No specific cider mill.

It was our first trip north to the cabin for the summer. The first trip always seems to have a little extra special spark to it.  I’m no rail. I have meat on my bones, and I’ve certainly had my fair share of donuts in my life. Some don’t even come close to satisfying to craving, while others can get you by, and then, then there’s those ah-mazing donuts. Your go-to. Your all-time. Your favorite!

And now that your mouth is watering and you’re craving THAT donut, multiply it times ten! Yes, ten. For the BASIC, BASIC, BASIC apple cider donut from Apple Barrel Cider Mill.

Try it. Trust me. You won’t be disappointed.”

“I regularly buy Apple Barrel cider and donuts at the Bath Farmer’s market. Their donuts are the best I’ve had at any cider mill. I’ve tried the cinnamon sugar, blueberry, and cider flavored donuts; all are delicious. I plan on visiting the actual cider mill in the fall and hopefully can try their pumpkin flavored donuts then.”

Stephanie Zach

“This place has the best fudge at even better than great prices. Their donuts are amazing! Don’t forget about their cider slashes of course. I also love their book selection. I have gotten quite a few cookbooks from here as well as a book on Ghost Hunting in Michigan. I love the variety of other foods such as: jellies, honey, dip sauce mixes, etc. Love this place!”

“Apple turnover was super yummy! We also got the cider slush and fudge both were good. The store had a bunch of cute things. Definitely a fun stop on our trip.”

“This was an awesome stop on our way through. The donuts are fabulous and so is the cider slushies. We also got some awesome fudge and some awesome mugs. Plenty of good nick nacks along with great snacks. Bought some freshly picked awesome corn on the Cob outside as well. Highly recommend if you have not been. Great testing spot with outdoor seating and a great little ride for the kiddos.”

“The Apple Barrel made the pies for my wedding! They were AMAZING. great to work with and the pies were delicious. We taste tested pies from different vendors in the area and the Apple Barrel by far had the best! I highly recommend their pies! They taste great and are reasonably priced!”

“I stopped here on a Saturday morning in October to pick up cider and donuts to take to my Aunt’s house, but I was so pleased to find so much more.  They did indeed have a ton of fresh donuts- my favorite was the pumpkin – and fresh made cider. They make the cider right on site.  They have giant windows so you can see the process. Very cool!  While I was there they were pressing the apples. They sell fresh apples also. My biggest surprise was the super cute country store selling tons of Michigan made products. I picked up candles to take back to California as gifts to friends and family.  I was eyeing the maple syrup but was nervous about the airplane trip with a jug of sticky syrup. They also sell tons of jams, coffee, boxed mixes, spice mixes and other food products made in Michigan. I will definitely stop here again when I return to Michigan.”
